While OMATIVE ACM software systems have been in use on many Heidenhain iTNC530 CNCs with a dual-processor, OMATIVE has now released its new ACM-for-Heidenhain software solution also for single processor iTNC530.
As a result, all iTNC530 single and dual processor CNCs with software identification number 340480 or 340422 can now benefit from the advantages of this pure-software ACM solution.
In this version, special OMATIVE ACM cycles have been developed using Heidenhain’s standard "Cycle Design" function. The ACM cycles can be called during NC program execution in Heidenhain’s native execution environment. Thus, ACM features are executed in real-time in a manner transparent to the user.
This new version of ACM application lends itself to single-unit machining as well as batch production applications.
