OMATIVE-Pro Production Performance Monitoring system is a powerful management tool that assists in production supervision and effectively monitors and controls the productivity of machine tools.
Connected to OMATIVE ACM systems on CNC machines, OMATIVE-Pro receives event data from the shopfloor on a continuous basis. Based on its production event logging, OMATIVE-Pro provides real-time machine shop performance monitoring by simultaneously displaying the status of each machine, showing information such as: machine on/off, current job, current operation and tool, indication of actual material cutting, tool overload and machine alarm.
All the information may be accessed from any location on the factory network, as well as from any web location, to ease remote and off-time supervision.
OMATIVE-Pro can process event data on request - immediately or at a later time - and display them as statistical reports. These reports include comprehensive production information on parts and machine operations, such as:
Production performance for any period of time, such as a shifts
Count of manufactured parts
Machine & tool performance
Machine downtime & utilization
Tool utilization
Status of spindle rotation, overload, material cutting/not cutting
Cycle & operation times
OMATIVE-Pro graphically displays in real time, production information for each machine, such as in-cut time, job and tool start and end times, overload and alarms as well as cutting dynamic data such as load and feed variations. This information can be compiled to generate a summary of the cutting process.
Working in tandem with existing DNC systems, OMATIVE-Pro also includes an NC Program Editor, which inserts machining optimization commands into NC programs, making them compatible with ACM systems.
Through these real time information and statistical reports, OMATIVE-Pro helps to:
Optimize production processes
Increase workshop productivity
Detect and analyze production bottlenecks
Evaluate machine investment decisions
Generate customized reports for specific production and management requirements
Generate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), Quality Performance and other Six-Sigma indicators
Provide existing planning, purchasing, quality control, and ERP systems with actual production information
